Class Descriptions

Yin Yoga

A slow-paced style of yoga as exercise, incorporating principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with asanas (postures) that are held for longer periods of time. For beginners, asanas may be held from 45 seconds to two minutes; more advanced practitioners may stay in one asana for five minutes or more. We will be doing mostly 45 sec to 2 minutes (no worries!). This is a restorative practice that offers a deeper stretch for our bodies.

Yin Yoga

Massage 

A dynamic class to build awareness of your own anatomy, alignment, and self healing capabilities. Yin Yoga Massage teaches self-care practices  that  focus on improving range of motion, eliminating pain, and down-regulating the nervous system by using therapy balls  for myofascial release. Therapeutic self-massage and restorative Yin Yoga postures will help to promote deep relaxation, releasing stagnant energy and tension. This one of a kind class will leave you feeling empowered, educated and rejuvenated.

Meditative

Yin Yoga

A gentle class focused on combining YIN Yoga, with various styles of meditation to open up the body and build awareness of the mind. Stillness and breath-work, gentle movement, and restorative long held postures will help one find a deeper sense of presence. Classes will offer a variety of Guided Meditations, Sound Therapies (Tibetan Bowls) and Yoga Nidra's to help you relax, restore and realign durning your mid-week flow.

Uma Dance Therapy 

One hour of rhythmic movement, dancing to the beat of your own inner drum. This class is designed to bring you fully into your body, to meet your breath and move and groove to the rhythm of your heart and soul. A semi-guided, dynamic dance hour that challenges one to let go, open up, and move organically. Here we can find alignment and create a healthy space to release stress, move stagnant energy, increase vitality, and restore balance. Join us every Sunday night to fill up with abundance for the week ahead. Feel free to message any song requests in advance so you can shake it out to some of your favorites! All bodies, minds and spirits welcome- NO DANCE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :)!
